Our Beliefs

At Concord Lake Baptist, our faith is rooted in the truth of Scripture, the saving work of Jesus Christ, and a calling to love God and serve others.

Core Beliefs

What We Hold To Be True

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our final authority for faith, truth, and daily living.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man, whose death and resurrection provide salvation for all who trust in Him.

Salvation

We believe salvation is by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by human effort, and that new life is found in Him alone.

The Church

We believe the church is a body of believers called to worship, grow in discipleship, encourage one another, and share the gospel with the world.

Belief Questions

These statements summarize the biblical convictions that shape our worship, teaching, and life together as a church.

Who is God?

We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, worthy of all worship and obedience.

What is the gospel?

The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again so that all who repent and believe may be forgiven and made new.

Why does Scripture matter?

Scripture teaches us who God is, reveals His will, and equips believers for faithful living, spiritual growth, and service.

Why gather for worship?

We gather to glorify God through prayer, singing, preaching, fellowship, and encouragement as we grow together in Christ.

What is baptism?

We believe baptism is an act of obedience that publicly identifies a believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

What is our mission?

Our mission is to make disciples, care for one another, and serve our community with the love and truth of Christ.
